NURSERY SCHOOL IN ABERGELE

A WELCOMING AND SAFE ENVIROMENT

Our nursery school and out-of-school club is situated in a quiet cul de sac just off the main road through Pensarn, Abergele.

With large gardens to the front and rear, Chwarae Teg Abergele is a relatively large children's nursery, and it is registered for 64 children.

Chwarae Teg Abergele is currently undergoing major refurbishment work, where we aim to build a warm, welcoming, and homely environment.

LADYBIRDS AND BEES

The ladybirds and bees age from 3 months to 2 years. Their daily routine is based around sensorial activities, floor play and exploration.

They also take part in general activities such as painting, water and sand play, and enjoy age-appropriate toys, including those in malleable materials.

We have cots and beds available for those children who require naps, and buggies for walks. Please feel free to discuss your child's specific needs and daily routine at home, so we can ensure your baby settles into nursery life.

Our purpose built baby suite has been individually designed to encourage and stimulate the different stages of each baby's development, while incorporating the practicalities needed for the everyday care of young infants.

TODDLER GROUP

This toddler group is for children aged 2-3. Their room is full of toys, games and things to discover, there are planned activities in which your child can participate if they so wish.

The children discover colours, shapes and opposites, and are encouraged to speak as much as possible.

We encourage independence, and allow the children to choose what they want to do, as well as teaching them to feed themselves. We also assist with potty training and have child size toilets.

The children often play outside, and are taken for walks or to the beach.

For the older children we have butterflies and Club Chwarae Teg.
